VOLUME: Volunteers for Unaccompanied Minors Get Educated
VOLUME ist ein Projekt im Rahmen des EU-Programms Erasmus+ (Leitaktion 2 – Strategische Partnerschaften in der Erwachsenenbildung). VOLUME richtet sich in erster Linie an Ehrenamtliche, die unbegleitete Minderjährige unterstützen. Mittels einer Online-Trainingsplattform können sie ihre Fähigkeiten gezielt weiterentwickeln und so letztendlich die ihre ehrenamtliche Arbeit verbessern. Auch hauptamtlich Tätige, insbesondere Quereinsteiger:innen können von der Plattform und ihren 5 Trainingsmodulen zu den Themen Rolle der Freiwilligen, Rechte von Minderjährigen, Gesundheit, Empowerment und Integration profitieren.
Das Projekt bringt Partnerorganisationen aus fünf europäischen Ländern zusammen, die Erfahrung mit Migrations- und Integrationsdiensten bzw. der Weiterbildung von Haupt- und Ehrenamtlichen haben. Neben den Trainingsmodulen wurde auch ein Blended Learning Curriculum für Lehrkräfte in dem Feld konzipiert, das sie bei der Unterrichtsgestaltung in den 5 Modulbereichen unterstützt.

VOLUME is a project within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ programme (Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in Adult Education). VOLUME is primarily aimed at volunteers who support unaccompanied minors. Through an online training platform, they can develop their skills and ultimately improve their volunteer work. Full-time volunteers, especially career changers, can also benefit from the platform and its 5 training modules on the role of volunteers, the rights of minors, health, empowerment and integration.
The project brings together partner organisations from five European countries that have experience in migration and integration services and in the training of volunteers. In addition to the training modules, a blended learning curriculum for teachers in the field has been designed to support them in designing lessons in the 5 module areas.
